Biography
Dr. Mohamed M. Kataia is an accomplished Associate Professor of Endodontics who has made significant contributions to the field of dentistry through his research, teaching, and clinical practice. He currently holds the position of head of the Endodontic department at the faculty of dental medicine at the British University in Egypt.
Dr. Kataia began his academic career as a lecturer of endodontics for Misr University for Science and Technology before moving on to become an Associate Professor of Endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry at Minia University. He has since gone on to earn his Doctorate degree in Endodontics from Cairo University in June 2013, after completing his Master’s degree in 2010 from the Endodontic department at the same university. His Bachelor’s degree was also from Cairo University in 2004, where he graduated with honors.
Dr. Kataia is widely recognized as an expert in microscopic and microsurgical endodontics, and has published numerous research papers in national and international journals. He has also contributed to various dental textbooks and has been invited to speak at conferences both nationally and internationally. He is a certified international trainer for DENTSPLY Maillefer, an official speaker and trainer for Poldent, and an official Woodpecker speaker and consultant.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kataia has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in his teaching, research, and clinical practice. His passion for endodontics and his dedication to advancing the field have earned him a reputation as a leading authority in the field of endodontics.
